A mother, a daughter, a sister so great
Born May 10th 1948.
Always a giggle and rarely a frown
Raised in Belleville and schooled in town.
Her lamp of knowledge was always ablaze.
At New Jersey City U she spent college days.
Judie studied French and British Lit.
But, her thirst for learning just would not quit.
Onto graduate work at Montclair State U,
In her yellow Opal GT she nearly flew.

At Sacred Heart and Belleville Jr., she briefly taught.
Then more country style living is what she sought.
Judie moved to Danville to begin her career
At Morris Catholic High School, a place she held dear.

She raised two precious children and gave them her heart.
From her Anthony and Christina, she was rarely apart.
Judie loved mom, Francesca, and held her in esteem.
In laughter or debate with sister, Deb, was a team.

At her second home, Morris Catholic, she ware many hats.
E.S.L., French, English, and keeping library stats.
Judie spear-headed the school's Sunshine Club.
Her library became a welcoming hub.
Judie always took time to help a student or friend.
Often hearing, "Mrs. Nov., please help me again!"
She loved to be needed and would never refuse.
Tales of her students would always amuse.
Dedicate and good natured she was loved by all.
Her spirit can be felt as one walks down the hall.

On June 19th, well before her time.
Judie was brutally murdered...a horrific crime.
A high profile case covered by the press.
Without our Judie, the world is much less.
She touched the lives of all she's met
Her gentle pure soul, we will not forget.

A tribute is planned to celebrate her life.
For she's now with God in peace free from strife.
A concert so grand, that it's sure to please
And in her name will help students to get their degrees.
The Judith Novellino Memorial Fund will get all the proceeds
To help MCHS students with financial needs.

A room filled with music, laughter, and love.
Come celebrate Judie! She'll watch from above!!
